Began falling apart after just one year
Our Aerus memory foam was fine after the first six months, but when I recently moved some latex layers around, I noticed the memory foam had numerous tears in it. The tears were about the same whether on the edge or in the middle, so I'm not really sure if they are the result of sitting on the edge of the bed, or rolling/folding the memory foam while changing latex layers, or what. These are deep tears that penetrate the entire foam layer in some cases, although I'm not sure the effects are noticeable during sleep (but I think about it every time I go to bed, which is stressful enough). We didn't move the mattress or mishandle it, so this seems to be a manufacturing/quality control issue. Anyway, I recommend against this memory foam and wish I would have opted for the convoluted latex comfort layer instead (which is made by FloBeds, unlike the Aerus memory foam).
